- Lead architecture, design, and deployment of complex enterprise networks (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, hybrid cloud)
- Assess existing infrastructure and define long-term network strategy and roadmaps
- Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions
- Oversee advanced routing and switching configurations (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN)
- Drive network security initiatives (firewalls, Zero Trust, segmentation, VPNs)
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical incidents
- Collaborate with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams on integrated solutions
- Lead network transformation projects (cloud migration, data center modernization)
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical teams
- Engage with stakeholders, clients, and leadership for technical consulting and decision-making
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation and architecture diagrams
Required Skills & Expertise
- Deep expertise in enterprise networking and architecture design
- Strong command of protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, VXLAN
- Hands-on experience with vendors: Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto
- Advanced knowledge of network security frameworks and technologies
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with SDN, SD-WAN, and network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform)
- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex, mission-critical environments
- Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Minimum 12+ years of relevant networking experience
Preferred certifications: CCNP / CCIE (highly preferred)CISSP or equivalent security certification AWS / Azure advanced networking certifications.
