Senior Motor Vehicle Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Identifies mechanical issues and perform vehicle repairs or troubleshooting
• Allocate tasks and provide technical guidance to mechanics, especially for complex mechanical issues or troubleshooting
• Review and verify inspection reports, repair work, and maintenance records to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Ensure the correct installation, modification, and repair of vehicle systems and components as per manufacturer standards
• Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to junior mechanics to support their development
• Communicate effectively with management regarding job progress update, vehicle issues, and resource requirements
• Ensure safety practices are followed and housekeeping is maintained in accordance with safe work procedures
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Secondary or higher
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems), leadership skill
