What You Will Do
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Senior Medical Sales Representative is accountable for:
. Collaborating cross-functionally to maximize the therapeutic benefits of biopharmaceutical products for patients
. Promoting assigned biopharmaceutical products within a designated territory to meet or exceed quarterly sales targets
Key Responsibilities
. Partner with the Sales Manager to develop, execute, and achieve territory Plans of Action (POA) and key account strategies
. Convey product key messages and value propositions to target healthcare professionals
. Implement sales and marketing initiatives as directed, ensuring delivery of agreed-upon outcomes
. Conduct regular progress reviews with the Sales Manager, adjusting action plans proactively based on performance insights
. Participate in cross-functional team meetings (e.g., with Medical Affairs, Key Account Management) to align program objectives and responsibilities
. Share best practices and collaborate with peers and the Sales Manager to drive collective success
. Research, gather, and analyze competitive market intelligence to inform strategy
. Fulfill customer commitments in a timely manner to build and maintain trusted professional relationships
. Document promotion activities and maintain accurate, up-to-date account profiles in the designated CRM system
. Demonstrate proficiency in required sales competencies (e.g., consultative selling techniques, strategic account management)
. Manage sales expenses in alignment with approved budgets and POA priorities
. Seek guidance and support to plan and execute territory activities effectively
. Continuously enhance product knowledge, communication skills, and selling capabilities through self-directed learning and active participation in approved training programs
What We Expect Of You
Basic Qualifications
. Minimum 3 years of sales-related experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry (candidates with less experience may be considered for the Biopharmaceutical Representative role)
. Working knowledge of the local healthcare system and market dynamics
. Proficiency in relevant computer systems, including CRM databases and Microsoft Office applications
. Fluent in both spoken and written Cantonese and English
. Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
Preferred Requirements
. Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (e.g., biology, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, medical sciences)
. Experience in Cardiovascular (CV) or Chronic Disease therapeutic areas
. Understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) principles and practices
. Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders across multiple disciplines and organizational levels
. Familiarity with project management fundamentals
. Prior experience collaborating with HA
