Complete daily hand on maintenance tasks and perform checks to ensure all tasks assigned by Engineers or Supervisors are completed according to the required services and safety standards adhering to SUBSAFE procedures and requirements.
Perform hands on work in carrying out troubleshooting and rectification of mechanical or marine diesel defects through removal, service, installation and conduct system tightness test.
Perform joint inspection and acceptance with ship representative and coordinate with ship crews to perform function test of ship systems.
Carry out replenishment of Submarines supplies such as topping up of gases, fuel oil, lubricating oil and hydraulic oil.
Coach, supervise and guide a team of junior technicians to carry out the planned and corrective maintenance onboard the Submarines.
Perform logistical support such as lifting of equipment and components and maintenance of workshop tool and equipment.
Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures such as Permit to Work (PTW) system to ensure the safety of oneself and others onboard the submarine.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the management
Requirements:
Preferably with at least 3 years of relevant working experience
Possess positive attitude and willingness to learn and improve
Able to use mechanical IMTE such as Torque Wrench, pressure gauges, internal, external micrometer and vernier caliper
Able to use mechanical tools and equipment such as spanner, ratchet wrench, lever block and chain block (chain hoist)
Able to read and depict technical documents such as 2D assembly drawing and schematic diagram
Ability to work under pressure and work as a team
Able to perform hands on work and overtime
Perform demanding tasks in tight and confined spaces, shipyard and outdoor environment
