Overseeing and directing construction projects in terms of MEP part
Coordination with PM & MEP consultants and government authorities
Coordination with other site departments (Construction team) to resolve discrepancies & technical issue to ensure project completion on time within budget
Checking MEP deliverables of Project requirement and ensuring achievement of quality standards
Supporting Construction Manager to plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
Comprehensive understanding of the contract documents (MEP drawings and specifications), phasing plans, construction sequence and project schedule
Reviewing and comment MEP sub-contractors submittals and drawings
Select MEP equipment and track inventory
Liaise with the client, PM and consultant
Liaise directly and regularly in Korean with our Korean headquarters to update process of project.
Act as a key liaison for Korean-speaking executives, staff, and partners
Coordinating with HQ team (South Korea)
Preparing & conducting progress report and technical meetings for MEP works
Reviewing MEP Engineering team member performance periodically
Participate in any WSH-related campaign and activities when required (WSH Inspection, TBM, etc.) Participate and/or advise to formulate WSH control measures with the Risk Assessment Team (RAT) for assigned duties.
Ensure the activities comply with the local Authorities quality, environment, health & safety requirements and Clients General Specification
The person with Overall responsibility of Mechanical Section for the Project
The candidate should understand the construction Industry System and be able to discuss it with HQ from Korea and Branch office

Job Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
At least 12 years relevant experience in Building Projects / Construction Industry
Experience in High-rise Building Project in confined city area preferred
Strong leadership and decision making
Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
Fluent in written and spoken English and Korean as need to liaise with Korean headquarters
