Senior Engineer (Mechanical)

Location: Tai Seng
Working Days: Monday to Friday ,9am to 6pm
Salary: up to $6,500 - $7,000 (negotiable)

Job Description

• To execute projects well from its planning to completion.

• Candidates for senior roles are to guide a team of junior engineers in the design, execution and completion of projects.

• Planning, design of mechanical & electrical services in buildings and infrastructural developments (substation, power, lighting, security system, data cabling, public address system, air-conditioning, ventilation, fire protection, plumbing, sanitary, gas, vertical transportation, etc).

• To liaise with Singapore authorities, clients, consultants, contractors.

• Project Management from pre-development through to completion.

• Cost planning, life-cycle costing, evaluation of payment and variation orders for clients and quantities surveyors.

• Attend and lead project meetings, site meetings, inspections, etc.

Requirements

• A recognized Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• 6-8 years hands-on experience in design in an engineering consultancy firm.

• Experience in handling full cycle of building service projects and proven track record with strong background in Mechanical/Electrical design.

• Good understanding of Singapore Code of Practice and Authority submission process.

• Confident and have strong presentation & communication skills.

• Able to work independently as well as in a team setting.

• Strong design skill in Revit/BIM & AutoCAD is an added advantage.
