Senior Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Support and carry out mechanical engineering design for ACMV, fire protection, and sanitary/plumbing (SP) works.
• Manage design deliverables and/or project management activities covering the full project lifecycle, from concept through design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, site administration, and completion.
• Supervise, coach, and provide technical guidance to engineering team members throughout the project, from concept stage to handover.
• Act as Project Manager or Team Leader as required, providing leadership and mentoring to new employees.
• Provide ongoing technical assistance, advise on project administration and contractual matters, and lead technical discussions to resolve common design issues.

Requirements

• Recognized Degree in Mechanical Engineering with PEB Singapore (as stated).
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in ACMV/HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing design engineering with engineering consultancies in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Code of Practice and local authority submission processes (e.g., LTA/PUB/BCA), with BIM/CAD capability (Revit/MicroStation/AutoCAD) as an added advantage.
