Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to oversee the reliability and maintenance of rotating and static equipment at a critical industrial facility. This role involves providing technical support, leading maintenance strategies, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards to maintain safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, piping, and pressure vessels
- Develop preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Supervise contractors and vendors to ensure safe and high-quality execution of mechanical work
- Manage statutory inspections and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement engineering improvements for operational efficiency
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in heavy industries such as oil, gas, petrochemical, or power plants
- Strong knowledge of rotating/static equipment, pressure systems, and mechanical integrity standards
- Experience in predictive maintenance and failure analysis (e.g., vibration monitoring, API standards)
