Commissioning Technical Trainer

A global data center consultancy and commissioning leader is expanding its APAC Commissioning capability and looking for a Technical trainer. This organization partners with hyperscalers, colocation providers, and mission‑critical operators worldwide to deliver reliable, energy‑efficient data center infrastructure.

The role sits within a highly respected commissioning division, focused on technical excellence, safety, and long‑term talent development. You will travel extensively within the APAC region to active construction and live data-center sites to deliver on-the-job commissioning training to new graduate, junior, and transitioning engineers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on, site-based training for commissioning engineers across live data center projects in APAC
• Coach and mentor engineers during pre-functional, functional, and integrated systems testing (IST)
• Act as a technical authority on electrical/mechanical systems, commissioning standards, and best practices
• Assess engineer competency, provide feedback, and support internal training materials and standardization

Requirements

• Strong background as a Commissioning Engineer or Commissioning Manager in mission‑critical or complex MEP environments
• Proven hands-on commissioning experience on live projects (data centers, critical facilities, large industrial projects)
• Willing and able to travel extensively across APAC (site‑based role)
• Strong ability to train, mentor, and communicate technical concepts clearly
