As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Plan weekly and monthly installation schedules and manpower arrangements.
Coordinate with site personnel, suppliers, and subcontractors on work schedules and material deliveries.
Raise material and equipment requisitions (MERF) for approval.
Attend project and site coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Supervise and coordinate site works to ensure smooth progress and timely completion.
Prepare and submit method statements, risk assessments, shop drawings, progress reports, and claims.
Ensure M&E works comply with design requirements and quality standards.
Conduct inspections on materials, equipment, and site installations.
Carry out testing, commissioning, and joint inspections with clients.
Rectify defects, clear outstanding works, and prepare as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
Assist in project close-out, including variation orders and final account settlement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5-8 years of related working experience/industry
Experience in managing LTA Projects (ACMV, fire protection, ducting)
