Our client is a leading manufacturer of precision plastic components.. They are looking for a Senior / Mechanical Design Engineer to assist their team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in the West area - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Lead 3D product design, including defining technical requirements and engineering specifications.
- Drive mechanical and engineering design for process development, product development, and innovative engineering solutions.
- Develop proof of concepts and generate detailed engineering drawings with proper GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Establish and define testing requirements for all designed products to ensure quality and compliance.
- Manage projects within tight timelines, conduct patent searches to prevent design infringement, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Min Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Industrial with relevant experience
- Good exposure in Plastic Injection molded parts design
- Knowledge of product design, engineering plastics behavior, product certification
- Knowledge of CAE simulation will be an added advantage
