My client is a leading Global Bank and they are seeking an experienced Markets Compliance professional to join its Institutional Compliance team in Singapore. This newly created leadership role will act as the senior Markets Compliance representative on the ground, providing oversight and guidance across the Markets business while serving as a key escalation point for regional stakeholders.

Responsibilities for this Senior Markets Compliance - Global Bank role

• Provide strategic compliance and regulatory advice to the Markets business across Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Commodities, etc products.
• Partner with senior business leaders to promote a strong risk and compliance culture across the Institutional division.
• Lead and coordinate thematic reviews, deep-dive assessments and compliance monitoring activities to identify emerging risks and drive risk maturity improvements.
• Act as a senior escalation point for Markets Compliance matters across the Asia region.
• Support regulatory engagements and coordinate regulatory communications across multiple jurisdictions.
• Influence senior stakeholders across Front Office, Markets leadership, Risk, Compliance and country management teams.
• Drive consistent compliance standards and best practices across regional and global Markets businesses.

Requirements for this Senior Markets Compliance - Global Bank role -

• 10+ years of relevant Markets Compliance experience, ideally with overall experience gained within international banking institutions.
• Deep Markets Compliance expertise covering FICC products,
• Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks impacting Markets businesses
• Experience operating within complex, highly regulated global banking environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
