Job Summary

The Senior Marketing Manager will lead the brands with strong integrated marketing and strategic planning competencies. This includes a demonstrable understanding of customers – how they think, feel, shop, travel, and respond to fashion trends, luxury retail experiences, and Club 21's evolving brand ambitions.

The role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and launches across a broad product portfolio within different retail clusters. This position requires independence, strategic thinking, and the ability to apply modern, progressive integrated marketing expertise to drive business growth and elevate brand desirability.

The Senior Marketing Manager will also drive destination marketing initiatives, positioning Club 21 stores, pop-ups, activations, and retail environments as lifestyle and shopping destinations that attract both local and international customers. This includes collaborating with tourism, hospitality, lifestyle, and cultural partners to enhance customer engagement, footfall, and experiential retail opportunities.

This role will work collaboratively with the wider COMO Group to deliver cutting-edge marketing strategies that strengthen brand visibility, customer loyalty, and commercial performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute industry best-practice In Market Strategies.
  • Lead and demonstrate a progressive retail and destination marketing practice.
  • Collboarate with all other brand leads and direct manager on building brand-led marketing plans and seasonal launches.
  • Drive destination marketing initiatives to position Club 21 retail locations, events, and activations as premium lifestyle and shopping destinations.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with tourism boards, hotels, lifestyle brands, cultural institutions, malls, and hospitality partners to increase brand exposure and customer traffic.
  • Create integrated campaigns targeting both local consumers and international travelers, enhancing customer acquisition and retail experiences.
  • Ensure seamless integration of all marketing channels that are insights- and customer-led.
  • Responsible for ensuring all legal and contracutual obligations relevant to marketing activities are met, including permit regulations, licensing, copyright restrictions, and approvals.
  • Liaise with principals on seasonal Press & Advertising materials, annual A&P budgets, and overall marketing plans for individual brands.
  • Coordinate with operational personnel (store, warehouse, finance, visual merchandising) on promotion mechanics and logistics to ensure smooth execution and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the digital team to ensure planning, execution, and reporting are seamless across online and offline channels.
  • Engage in media planning through rigorous rationalisation and selection processes.
  • Negotiate with media owners annually to secure preferential rates and placements for all brands.
  • Expand customer databases by identifying and developing relevant cross-promotional opportunities.
  • Conduct regular market intelligence gathering and annual competitor analysis, including luxury retail and destination marketing trends.
  • Build relationships with press and media to maximise editorial coverage, fashion spreads, exclusive features, and destination-related storytelling opportunities.
  • Increase brand visibility by leveraging Club 21's media investments with targeted publications and strategic partners.
  • Maintain and update individual Press Archives for bi-annual Management reviews.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through response rates, attendance levels, customer engagement, tourism traffic impact, and purchase behaviour analysis.
  • Plan and manage individual brand marketing budgets, including detailed monitoring and optimization of all expenses.
  • Lead experiential marketing initiatives, including retail activations, pop-ups, VIP events, fashion presentations, and collaborative lifestyle experiences that enhance brand positioning and customer immersion.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in retail, luxury, fashion, lifestyle, or destination marketing, including leadership experience.
  • Strong background in integrated marketing, brand management, digital marketing, and experiential campaigns.
  • Experience in destination marketing, partnerships, and customer engagement initiatives is preferred.
  • Strong commercial, analytical, and budget management skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple brands and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for fashion, luxury retail, and innovative customer experiences.
