HIRING: SENIOR ENGINEER – MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading global engineering and aerospace manufacturing organization in Singapore.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to take ownership of manufacturing process improvement, advanced manufacturing technologies, precision machining, productivity enhancement and continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and establish manufacturing procedures, work instructions and documentation control.

• Create Manufacturing Job Instruction Sheets (JIS), NC programs and Tool/Gauge Plans using Siemens NX.

• Drive productivity and continuous improvement initiatives, including equipment and fixture selection, design and implementation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues arising from internal and external customer feedback.

• Conduct feasibility studies for manufacturing capacity, facility layout improvements and expansion.

• Evaluate existing manufacturing technologies and processes and implement advanced manufacturing methods.

• Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities to improve productivity, quality and cost efficiency.

• Prepare business justifications for CAPEX investments.

• Support company-wide productivity, quality and continuous improvement programs.

• Coach and guide junior engineers.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams on manufacturing, engineering, quality and productivity initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Mechanical, Precision, Manufacturing, Materials Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.

• Hands-on experience with precision machining, including CNC 5-axis, lathe and milling.

• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma.

• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in Siemens NX / Unigraphics or other CAD/CAM applications.

• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
