Overall Purpose of The Job
The Web and Social Media Senior Manager will drive our corporate digital presence end-to-end
from steering a major website revamp to elevating content, engagement, and brand
experience across all owned corporate social media platforms. The ideal candidate combines
strong project leadership, editorial sensibility, technical fluency, and a deep understanding of
audience behaviour and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Website Revamp & Digital Transformation
Oversee the end-to-end revamp of SPH Media's corporate website, including discovery,
planning, content mapping, selection of CMS, UX/UI development, testing, launch, and
ongoing optimisation.
Ensure the website reflects the organisation's communications strategy, brand
guidelines, and narrative framework.
Manage vendors, creative partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless and
timely project.
Strengthen site structure, navigation, SEO, and content quality to enhance stakeholder
experience and accessibility.
Put in place sustainable governance processes and content workflows post-launch.
Website & Content Management
Oversee day-to-day maintenance and updates on the corporate website to ensure
accuracy, relevance, and brand alignment.
Review and refine content regularly to support organisational priorities, key messages,
and executive communications.
Use analytics to guide content decisions, improve user engagement, and enhance
overall digital performance.
Social Media Strategy
Develop and implement an integrated social media strategy that strengthens the
organisation's reputation and visibility across key social media platforms.
Curate and produce content that highlights organisational achievements, corporate
initiatives, leadership visibility, and stakeholder engagements.
Oversee editorial calendars, content pipelines, and performance tracking to ensure
consistent, timely, and high-quality output.
Monitor digital trends and platform developments to guide strategic shifts and content
innovation.
Support major events and initiatives with web and social media amplification.
Digital Governance, Brand Consistency & Risk Management
Uphold strong brand standards, messaging consistency, and responsible use of digital
channels.
Enhance governance frameworks, approval processes, and platform guidelines for
internal stakeholders.
Work closely with External Comms and stakeholders to ensure protocol and business
continuity plans are in place for digital escalations or sensitive issues.
Job Profile
Required Qualifications
Degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related discipline.
Minimum 712 years of experience in web, digital communications, or social media
roles, preferably within corporate or public-facing organisations.
Strong command of content strategy, UX/UI principles, CMS management, SEO, and
analytics.
Proficiency with social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and CMS platforms
(e.g., WordPress, Webflow).
Proven experience managing a large-scale website revamp is essential.
Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva,
Adobe Creative Suite).
Required Competencies
Strong writing skills that can engage audiences via the various platforms
Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills.
Data-driven thinking and ability to influence and challenge the status quo
Strong project management capabilities with experience managing vendors and cross-
functional teams. Experience in leading a website revamp project will be a plus.
Good time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple
projects at the same time
Thrive in matrixed environments and is adept at influencing and coordinating with
different stakeholders.
An excellent communicator and creative thinker
A self-starter who is analytical and meticulous
Video editing and motion graphic skills are a bonus
Experience with paid social campaigns and performance marketing
Familiarity with UX principles and A/B testing
Sound judgement, especially in reputational considerations and digital risk
management.
