Job Description

Position: Senior Manager, Sustainability & Product Development

Develop and implement corporate strategies and initiatives in the areas of product design and development with the objective of advancing SingLand's ambition to be a progressive real estate company within the broad guidelines based on SingLand's vision, values and purpose.

Ensure key corporate strategies and initiatives receive support across all levels including Board, Management and Staff through effective communication of its objectives and implementation of change management processes.

Job Description

  • CORPORATE STRATEGY & INITIATIVES

Develop and implement group-level strategies initiatives in the areas of asset benchmarking, asset branding, building sustainability and innovation to advance SingLand's corporate vision and purpose.

Implement change management processes to ensure alignment across business units for the successful implementation of the group-level strategies and high impact initiatives.

  • PRODUCT DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

Prepare design brief for development projects and asset enhancement initiatives (AEI) that incorporates stakeholder requirements, sustainability features and placemaking aspects to ensure product differentiation and competitiveness, and consistency of standards within SingLand's portfolio,

Implement design management for AEI and development projects across different asset classes (Office, Retail, Hospitality and Residential) to ensure effective implementation of design brief and end-user requirements.

Collaborate with external stakeholders including consultants of various disciplines, relevant authorities and government agencies to achieve the intended outcomes.

Analyse and evaluate feasibility studies for existing developments or new acquisitions to ensure optimization in the design and planning of the development.

Develop and manage design database to archive design proposals and design studies conducted in order to develop internal benchmarking standards.

  • OTHER GROUP-WIDE INITIATIVES

Support the implementation of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and oversee key risks in Innovation.

Support the implementation of other key initiatives such as Innovation, Sustainability and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) to achieve sound corporate governance.

Job Requirement

  • Good degree in relevant fields of architecture, engineering or studies in Built Environment sector.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in similar scope.
  • Experience in architecture and design would be an advantage.
  • Ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to manage macro-level and micro-level requirements.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound knowledge of local regulations in the Built Environment sector would be an advantage.
