Summary
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain is a pivotal leadership role responsible for developing and executing the supply chain strategy for Tee Hai. You will oversee the entire value chainfrom inbound logistics and planning to warehousing and final deliveryensuring a customer-centric culture that balances optimal service levels with sustainable cost management.
Strategy and Functional Management
- Develop, communicate and execute the Supply Chain strategy for Tee Hai in close collaboration with Supply Chain Global/Asia Pacific and relevant Commercial teams.
- Develop procedures and processes to support optimal service levels to customers and suppliers by collaborating with Commercial, Customer Service, Finance and QSHE
- Own the Supply Chain processes including Planning, Shipping, Inventory Control, Warehousing, Distribution and Logistics for products and value-added services
Planning, Purchasing and Inbound Logistics
- Own and improve Tee Hai Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to optimize customer service levels and working capital using forecasting and inventory control best practices
- Inbound Logistics improve efficiencies and cost structure for ordering and importation of products
- Manage stock levels, including safety stocks, lead times, delivery optimization and distribution requirements planning (DRP) to ensure inventory is maintained at the optimum levels in the optimum locations
- Optimize and maintain information flow on inbound and outbound shipments to ensure availability of up-to-date delivery information
Warehousing & Local Logistics
- Lead and communicate the development of Warehousing & Delivery processes from arrival of goods into the warehouses to the delivery to customers, especially relating to SCS (Supply Chain Solutions) business in Tee Hai
- Enhance, identify and invest in value-added services including physical and virtual receiving, checking, storing, sampling, toll manufacturing (repackaging, mixing and blending), picking, staging, inspecting, loading, routing, and delivery to support Commercial Customer Strategies
- Manage and maintain efficient, cost-effective, professional, on-time deliveries to customers
- Oversee the management and performance of existing 3PL arrangements and assess current and future warehousing and logistics needs
- Oversee the management of warehousing contracts including undertaking negotiations as required
Inventory Control
- Ensure inventory control is maintained including cycle counts and reconciliations, SLOB stock process, disposals, etc
ERP Processes, Master Data and Supply Chain Systems
- Lead SAP Item Master Data maintenance for new and existing products
- Key owner of SAP processes to roll out updates from regional SAP team
- Oversee implementation and ongoing improvements of Supply Chain related IT systems such as Certificates of Analysis, Document Management (TDS, SDS), etc
- Report on Key Performance Indicators for all aspects of the supply chain
Project Development
- Manage functional projects from requirement gathering to implementation and follow up in close collaboration with relevant country resources to ensure that projects are planned and executed with due consideration to quality, costs, timing and QSHE
- Co-ordinate CAPEX projects from the requirement to implementation and follow up; all in close collaboration with relevant country and Asia Pacific resources to ensure that projects are planned and executed with due consideration to quality, costs, timing, and safety
Customer Service
- Identify and assist in implementation of process improvement opportunities in conjunction with senior management, Tee Hai commercial teams and customer service
- Manage Customer Service Excellence as measured by external customer feedback
- Work cohesively with internal/external stakeholders ensuring a customer-centric culture is achieved and maintained
Expenses
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and submit OPEX and CAPEX budgets annually
- Manage ongoing operational expenses, both internal and external (3PLs) so that superior customer experience is achieved with optimal and sustainable cost base
Non-conformance Management
- Review Job7's and follow through to action improvements, addressing areas of sub-optimal performance with corrective and preventive actions
- Manage and report all non-conformances, acting on repetitive non-conformances
- Identify and implement changes to ensure a measured reduction in non-conformances and overall operation efficiency gains are achieved in an environment of continuous improvement
Leadership and Team
- Lead the Supply Chain function ensuring regional expectations are met
- Lead the recruitment, retention, and development of the team ensuring personal and professional development is undertaken
- Consistently demonstrate and reinforce the values of Brenntag through exemplary standard setting and observed behaviours in the areas of performance, leadership, teamwork, and accountability
- Build an exceptional customer-centric culture
- Actively participate in the annual People Performance Management process (PPM), establishing individual KPIs and monitoring performance to ensure targets and effective work outcomes are achieved

- Perform such other duties and activities which may be assigned to you from time to time
RGQ (Regulatory and Quality) and EHS (Environment, Health and Safety):
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the Company's Integrated Management Systems and comply with all policies and procedures of the systems
- Maintain sound knowledge of relevant requirements and regulations
- Always make sure that Company documents and practices meet appropriate customer requirements
- Adhere to the Company's Safety First culture ensuring the highest safety standards are always maintained and that respect and collaboration with colleagues is embedded in all daily work activities
Chain of Responsibility (COR):
- Be aware of, understand and comply with Brenntag's Chain of Responsibility Policy and Guidelines

- Be aware of the Company's responsibility under the Responsible Care initiative and always uphold the conditions of such membership
Product Stewardship:
- Ensure products handled by the Company are only promoted for the purpose specified in writing by the Producer and make no claims or statements, which can be used against the Company
- Ensure correct storage of goods and services under the Product Stewardship specifications
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Tertiary degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics Management.
- Minimum 8 years in Supply Chain with at least 4 years managing large teams.
- In-depth SAP knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
- Chemical industry experience is advantageous; Pharma experience is a plus.
- Proven negotiation, analytical, and strategic agility skills to manage complexity in a dynamic environment.
