Senior Manager

1)Job Description:

To manage EHD business of Sumitomo Chemical Asia (SCA) by providing following services.

a) To manage business performance of EHD of SCA and report to HQ,

b) To create regional Business Strategy, including Marketing Strategy, and Sales/Profits Budget. And to obtain approval of SCA management and HQ,

c) To implement the Strategy and achieve financial goal by managing regional team in each country,

d) To manage key business partners, customers, product's users and contractors, through the coordination with HQ as required.

e) To explore new business opportunities and materialize the opportunities through coordination with HQ and relevant key stakeholders,

f) To manage daily business operation of procurement, inventory control, goods delivery as well as product manufacturing with business partners,

g) To assist of in the management of Sumitomo Chemical affiliate companies in the region (i.e. Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia),

h) To provide coordination between the company and other parties (such as HQ and other group companies in the region & world),

i) To manage human resources of the regional team,

B) Skills Required

• Fluency and proficiency in the Japanese language (spoken & written) for the reporting, communication and discussion with the Japan HQ regarding the group companies and Japanese customers in the region.
• Fluent English-speaking ability in order to coordinate/manage/assist business departments of AGL and group companies and customers in the region and in the world,
• Excellent writing/reading and communication skills in English to engage in global business operation,
• Deep knowledge of and working experiences at pesticides business for non-agriculture uses at least 15 years above of relevant experiences,
• Good at business management, Sales & Marketing skill with at least 15 years above of relevant experience,
• Knowledge in contract, commercial and finance,
• Good communication and interpersonal skills internal as well as external,
• Good management skill of team member
• Good problem-solving skills,
• Independent, reliable and analytical,
• Meticulous and proactive work attitude are Essential, with high integrity, strong and professional work ethics and multi-tasking capability.
• Investigate causes of technical issues related to business/coordination and take proper actions to rectify them with relevant internal and external parties,
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP.

C)Education Details:

Bachelor degree in Business, Economics or related science from a reputable university.
