About the position:

Job location: Singapore

As the Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing large-scale, customer facing IT programs, ensuring successful execution and alignment with both business and customer objectives. This role requires strong stakeholder management, customer relationship skills, scope management, and the ability to set and manage expectations effectively. The ideal candidate will drive program success while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.

In this role you will:

  1. Lead and oversee the execution of multiple IT programs, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing relationships, expectations, and overall satisfaction
  3. Define program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with both internal stakeholders and customers.
  4. Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication across departments and with customers.
  5. Proactively identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks that may impact customer commitments.
  6. Track and report program progress, performance, and financials to senior leadership, internal teams, and customers.
  7. Engage with senior members of the customer, third-party, and IBS organizations to ensure the required commitment and support for the smooth execution of the program.
  8. Manage and represent formal steering committees (steer-co) and other management review forums.
  9. Drive process improvements and best practices in customer engagement and program management, leveraging Agile, Scrum, or other relevant methodologies.
  10. Work closely with sales, account management, and customer support teams to enhance customer satisfaction and program success.
  11. Negotiate and manage scope changes, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and business capabilities.
  12. Lead and mentor project managers, fostering a customer-centric culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 year experience in managing and delivering large scale IT projects, preferably travel and airline related.
  • Strong experience in managing customer engagements, expectations, and program scope.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex customer organizations and drive collaboration across business units.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
  • Background working in matrix organizations , executing large customer deliveries for global customers
  • Experience in budget management, resource allocation, and risk management.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies, with relevant certifications (PMP, PgMP, SAFe, CSM, etc.).
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar program management platforms.
  • Airline Domain Experience would be an added advantage
  • Work Experience in Multi-Cultural Environment, particularly Indian offshore teams
