The Strategy and Market Intelligence team - a small (4 pax) and high performing team - plays a pivotal role in this transformation. Its mission is to is to move from insight to foresight, continuously scanning the horizon for emerging trends, anticipating disruption, and ensuring Certis is positioned to act decisively and ahead of the curve.
The Senior Manager, Strategy & Market Intelligence will be a strong individual contributor, leading key projects that define and shape our corporate priorities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a structured, ongoing analysis of all major markets, adjacent opportunities, and competitors, providing Certis with a clear, data-driven perspective on market economics and strategic relevance.
- Establish an always-on market intelligence capability that proactively identifies emerging trends, risks, and opportunities, enabling Certis to act early and make informed strategic decisions.
- Act as a catalyst for growth by collaborating with business leaders to define where Certis should compete and how it can win, ensuring the strategy function is a trusted partner in shaping the company's future direction.
- Define, articulate, and drive Certis long-term strategic direction, aligning business objectives with emerging market trends and disruptive technologies.
- Lead the development and execution of growth plans for Singapore and key international markets, with a particular focus on Southeast Asia. This includes pinpointing priority markets and adjacent sectors, quantifying opportunities, and evaluating potential acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
- Support the GCEO and Board in developing high-impact communications materials for senior stakeholder engagements
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting or Strategic Planning roles
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with driving projects independently.
