Job Description

Who We Are

Pioneering workers rights since 1961, the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) unites 57 trade unions, seven trade associations, 12 social enterprises, and other enterprise partners as we create better lives for workers here in Singapore.

Our work cuts across the different ages and stages of life as we walk the ground and respond to everyday needs. Through initiatives that protect our workers at work, transform careers, manage the cost of living, help with financial resilience and health, and nurture relationships for families, we champion every worker through every touch point as we work towards better wages, welfare, and work prospects.

Because Every Worker Matters.

The Role

The Senior Manager, Stakeholder Communications will drive communications strategies with relevant stakeholders, including union leaders, and build the Labour Movement (LM)s capability for online advocacy.

The role will build a more structured, segmented and sustained stakeholder communications ecosystem, ensuring all key stakeholders receive timely and relevant information, understand NTUC's key priorities and are equipped to communicate these confidently through their own networks.

The role will also lead the Employee Advocacy Programme (EAP), building a vibrant community of employees who bring NTUC's work to life through their own experiences and authentic voices, and develop key metrics and outcomes to measure the success of key programmes.

  • Recruit, onboard and grow the advocate community across departments. Sustain participation through peer learning, co-creation and recognition, so advocates share ideas and amplify one another's content.
  • Equip advocates to tell NTUC's story in their own voice. Run learning sessions, gatherings and access to leaders and subject-matter experts, giving advocates an NTUC-wide view of key initiatives and the confidence and pride to make it relevant to their networks.
  • Track and report programme metrics.

Other responsibilities

  • Develop clear sensing objectives and questions in consultation with relevant teams, ensuring each exercise generates useful and actionable communications insights.
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative feedback to identify emerging concerns, information gaps, areas of misalignment and opportunities for deeper engagement.
  • Track shifts in awareness and sentiment over time, maintain a consolidated view of key insights and share relevant findings with internal stakeholders to support communications planning.

Requirements
