Job Description

Job Summary:

Regional Business Transformation & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Align closely with regional stakeholders to support business transformation initiatives across APAC Sales companies.
  • Execute and lead change initiatives and transformation projects in partnership with business and IT teams.
  • Act as a key SAP COE representative in regional discussions, ensuring alignment between business objectives and SAP capabilities.

Business Process Improvement & Standardization

  • Lead teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization across Sales and related business functions.
  • Define improvement initiatives by translating business needs into clear requirements and solution concepts.
  • Drive consistency and best practices across business processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and scalability.

Solution Evaluation & Senior Management Engagement

  • Evaluate new business scenarios, benefits, and IT solution options to support evolving business needs.
  • Develop and present business cases, proposals, and recommendations to senior management for review and approval.
  • Provide clear assessments of business value, risks, and impacts associated with proposed initiatives.

Project Leadership & Planning

  • Lead and actively participate in project planning activities together with the Project Management team.
  • Provide functional and business leadership throughout project lifecycles to ensure successful execution and outcomes.
  • Support effective coordination between business users, IT teams, and delivery partners.

Master Data Governance & Operations

  • Own and lead Master Data governance and maintenance within the SAP COE scope.
  • Establish master data standards, maintenance rules, and governance frameworks.
  • Define and implement operational processes associated with Master Data governance to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance across the region.

Job Requirements:

Experience & Background

  • Strong experience in Sales company business processes in an APAC regional capacity.
  • Minimum 8 years of team management experience, preferably in a regional or multi-country environment.
  • Proven track record leading business transformation, process standardization, or enterprise initiatives involving SAP-enabled solutions.

SAP & Functional Knowledge

  • Strong functional knowledge of SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), sufficient to:
  • Understand end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes
  • Evaluate solution options and impacts
  • Provide direction, challenge designs, and govern outcomes
  • Ability to lead and review SAP SD-related discussions and decisions without being hands-on in system configuration.
  • Good working knowledge of SD integration touchpoints with MM and FI from a business and governance perspective.
  • Broad understanding of SAP ERP capabilities and system landscapes, with the ability to stay current on SAP roadmap and future releases.
  • Preferably involved in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations, in a leadership, governance, or business-facing role.
  • Familiar with managing complex, multi-entity business system landscapes across regions.

Communication & Presentation

  • Professional communication skills in English, with the ability to engage and influence senior management.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills, including pictorial and executive-level storytelling, are mandatory.

Education & Travel

  • Degree in Business, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%, primarily within the Asia Pacific region, depending on project needs.

Budget: Up to $10k/mth
