It features 792 luxurious guestrooms and suites across three distinct wings, which include unique family-themed rooms, supported by a host of dedicated family-focused amenities.

Shangri-La is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager, Sales, for the Leisure & Luxury segment, to lead the development of strategic relationships within the leisure and luxury travel segment. This role is responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities, driving market penetration, and strengthening the position of our Singapore hotels within the global luxury travel landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to secure and maintain preferred partnerships with luxury leisure accounts.
  • Drive transient and group business opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and negotiate with prospective clients to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of leisure and luxury accounts while actively sourcing new business opportunities.
  • Promote the full portfolio of Singapore hotels and cross-sell opportunities across the Shangri-La network.
  • Participate in sales missions, client events, trade shows, site inspections, and business development activities locally and internationally.
  • Collaborate closely with hotel teams, Global Sales Offices (GSOs), Distribution, and Business Development colleagues to convert leads and drive incremental revenue.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel advisors, luxury travel agencies, wholesalers, tour operators, and key industry partners.
  • Ensure exceptional account management through regular engagement and strategic business reviews.
  • Stay informed on market developments, customer trends, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities.

Sales Planning & Administration

  • Support the development and execution of area sales plans, budgets, and market strategies.
  • Maintain accurate account information and sales activities in CRM and sales management systems.
  • Monitor business performance and proactively implement action plans to achieve goals.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business updates for leadership review.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in hotel sales, luxury hospitality sales, or travel industry business development.
  • Strong network within the luxury leisure travel market.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets and managing key accounts.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze market trends and business performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and hotel sales systems such as Delphi.fdc, Amadeus, or equivalent platforms.
