Key Responsibilities

The role, Senior Manager, Regional Finance is a key strategic advisor to SATS senior leadership, providing financial insights, analysis, and guidance to support decision-making, improve performance, and drive sustainable growth. This role serves as a key liaison between the SATS Group finance team, regional leadership, and local management teams, ensuring strong financial governance and alignment with the group's investment objectives.

Financial Performance Management

  • Oversee financial performance of investee companies, including profitability, cash flow, and working capital.
  • Prepare and perform analytical review of monthly financial performance against budget and forecast.
  • Review the financial accounting for overseas investments during the month end closing.
  • Lead monthly/quarterly financial reviews, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders.
  • Identify drivers of profitability, efficiency gaps, and improvement opportunities.

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Work closely with CEOs, CFOs, and management teams of investee companies to support strategic planning and execution.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reporting tools to support strategic decision-making and planning processes.
  • Finance representative to M&A, shareholders and/or business restructuring projects
  • Advise SATS Group management and/or Board nominees on financial implications of projects undertaken by the business units, including review of financial projections for feasibility assessment.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business goals.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Drive, coordinate, prepare and track quartering forecast, annual budget and 5-year plans with business units.
  • Coordinate annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes across investees companies.
  • Consolidate and present financial outlooks to Group leadership.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary finance interface between SATS leadership team, Group Finance and APAC investee management team.
  • Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present reports to internal committees and regional leadership.

Governance, Controls & Compliance

  • Ensure investee companies operate with strong financial controls, compliance, and audit standards.
  • Identify gaps in governance or reporting and drive corrective actions.

Others

  • Building a high-performing finance team.
  • Handle audit queries and related audit required assessment.
  • Any ad-hoc assignments and projects.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CFA/CPA/MBA preferred.
  • At least 10 years of progressive finance experience; experience in investment management, FP&A, corporate finance, or business partnering strongly preferred.
  • Prior exposure to APAC markets, with ability to work across multiple jurisdictions and cultures.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modelling, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
  • Experience of team leading.
  • Experience working with investee companies or regional consolidation roles is a plus.
