Job Description

What The Role Is

We're looking for an experienced finance professional to drive transformational change at the intersection of finance, technology, and process innovation. You will lead initiatives leveraging automation, AI, and data analytics to enhance finance operations and elevate the strategic contribution of finance across the Ministry of Health (MOH).

You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

What You Will Be Working On

You will be required to:

Drive Finance Transformation

  • Spearhead initiatives to uplift the role of finance across MOH.
  • Conduct finance rules reviews and support change management for whole-of-government initiatives.
  • Develop analytical tools and champion AI adoption to streamline finance-related processes.
  • Identify process automation/improvement opportunities and drive change to boost operational efficiency.

Champion Technology Adoption

  • Support the deployment of AI tools and digital solutions to enhance productivity.
  • Provide training and user support for new processes and automated workflows.
  • Monitor technology performance and share success stories across the organisation.

Build Technical Capabilities

  • Assess technical skills gaps and support training initiatives.
  • Help build a technology-savvy team through targeted capability development.

Enable Data-Driven Decisions

  • Engage stakeholders to understand metrics and data requirements.
  • Develop dashboards and prototypes that deliver meaningful insights.
  • Train users and continuously refine analytics tools for maximum impact.

As part of the shortlisting process for this role, candidates may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.

What We Are Looking For

  • Education in Finance or related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience, including 1 year in Tableau and data analytics.
  • Some working experience in process improvement, automation or digital transformation in finance-related fields.
  • Relevant certifications in Lean, Lean Six-Sigma, Business Process Re-engineering or Change Management will be an added advantage.
