Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of external partner engagements, including contract structuring, performance management, renewal planning, and exit arrangements.
  • Establish and maintain partner governance frameworks to ensure service delivery, accountability, and alignment with programme objectives.
  • Monitor delivery performance using defined KPIs, service reviews, and structured evaluation processes.
  • Collaborate with internal advisory teams to ensure commercial arrangements adequately address operational needs and risk considerations.
  • Develop management dashboards to track partner performance, contractual obligations, and cost utilisation.
  • Oversee programme and operational budgeting activities, including forecasting, expenditure tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in line with internal governance and control requirements.
  • Support senior leadership in annual planning cycles, budget submissions, and audit engagements.
  • Identify cost optimisation opportunities and recommend improvements to financial processes and payment workflows.
  • Oversee logistics and facilities coordination with service providers to support operations across multiple sites.
  • Ensure business continuity and operational resilience planning for programme activities.
  • Design and maintain internal governance frameworks covering risk management, process integrity, and compliance controls.
  • Conduct regular reviews of contractual, financial, and operational processes to identify gaps and strengthen controls.
  • Prepare management reports on governance indicators, risk exposures, and mitigation actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transparency, data accuracy, and operational accountability.
  • Act as a key coordination point between internal teams (e.g. finance, commercial advisory, legal) and external partners on governance and operational matters.
  • Provide guidance to programme teams on compliance, budgeting discipline, and partner engagement best practices.
  • Support cross-functional or multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • Leverage operational and financial data insights to support evidence-based decision-making and partner evaluations.
  • Establish data governance practices to improve reporting accuracy, traceability, and audit readiness.
  • Work with enterprise systems teams to ensure accurate capture of contract, financial, and performance data in management dashboards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in operations, commercial management, governance, finance, or related roles within large enterprises or regulated environments.
  • Working knowledge of contract management, vendor governance, and commercial frameworks.
  • Proven experience managing complex service contracts with multiple performance metrics and stakeholders.
  • Solid competence in budgeting, financial reporting, expenditure tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Familiarity with risk management, internal controls, and audit processes.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational and financial data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different seniority levels.
  • Experience supporting large-scale programmes or multi-partner operations will be a plus.
