Job Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning, curation, sourcing, and implementation of OS&E and selected NTFFE across the resort, ensuring alignment with the intended guest experience, brand positioning, and operational requirements.
- Translate design concepts into practical, durable, and operationally effective solutions, balancing aesthetics, functionality, service delivery, and long-term maintainability.
- Develop and deliver a distinctive approach to guest-facing and operational touchpoints by sourcing innovative products, materials, artisans, and suppliers that support the resort's identity, sensory experience, and service philosophy beyond catalogue selections
- Lead internal workshops, product reviews, sampling, mock-ups, and stakeholder presentations, providing recommendations that balance guest experience objectives, operational needs, commercial considerations, and project constraints.
- Partner with Procurement and project teams to manage vendor selection, product approvals, budget alignment, value engineering initiatives, procurement schedules, and implementation strategies.
- Oversee project documentation, product schedules, approvals, and program tracking to ensure transparency, accountability, and timely execution.
- Monitor key milestones, risks, dependencies, logistics, and delivery activities to support successful project execution and operational readiness for mockups & eventual roll out.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, updates, and recommendations that clearly communicate product direction, design rationale, commercial implications, and project progress.
- Support opening and handover activities by ensuring selected products, processes, and documentation are effectively transitioned to operational teams.
Education & Certification
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field
- 4 years of relevant experience in hospitality operations, operational planning/design, project management, design coordination, or logistics-related roles
- Prior experience working with external vendors, consultants, or suppliers within hospitality, food and beverage, or large-scale developments is preferred
- Design Integration & Guest Experience Mindset: Ability to translate design vision into operationally effective solutions that enhance guest experience, brand storytelling, and service delivery.
- Commercial & Market Leadership: Strong understanding of OS&E/NTFFE, vendor management, procurement, budgeting, value engineering, and lifecycle considerations.
- Stakeholder Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to align diverse stakeholder groups, build consensus, and drive decisions across design, operations, procurement, and leadership teams.
- Project Delivery & Operational Readiness: Strong programme management skills with experience managing multiple workstreams, timelines, risks, approvals, and implementation activities through to opening.
- Executive Communication & Presence: Confident communicator and presenter, capable of articulating recommendations, influencing decision-makers, and translating complex concepts into clear business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations and the relationship between design, functionality, and guest experience
- Comfortable working across office, site, and warehouse-like environments as required by project needs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar tools is an advantage
