You will be required to facilitate and support research activities, particularly in the area of research collaborations within the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre (AMC). This position plays a crucial role in facilitating research partnership through contract management and negotiation.
With the increasing setup of more research strategic programmes, research platforms and/or SingHealth Duke-NUS joint research institutes at SingHealth HQ and many more complex multi-institutional collaboration, you will be required to:
- Lead the review, negotiation and management of complex multi-party research collaboration agreements or project agreements and ensuring that these agreements are executed in a timely manner. Apply critical thinking when managing the projects assigned.
- Handle sophisticated research collaboration agreements with various stakeholders including SingHealth institutions, Duke-NUS, academic institutions, Singapore Public Sector parties and industry partners
- Ensure compliance and risk management in contract development and execution
- Drive efficient contract processing which maintaining high standards of governance
Other duties include the overseeing and supporting of special projects within Office of Research (OoR) as well as the drafting or reviewing of ad-hoc research policies under OoRs purview.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree preferably in healthcare or science related fields with 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to understand grant application requirements, scientific and clinical terms and medical jargons
- Candidates with experience in an administrative position and has involvement in the drafting and facilitation of research agreements would be preferred
- Fast learner with the ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders of all levels
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English
- Proficient with use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
