As part of its continued growth and transformation journey, the company is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to lead the end-to-end Quality function and drive a culture of excellence across its manufacturing operations.

The Opportunity:

You will be responsible for shaping and executing the site's Quality strategy while ensuring the highest standards of product quality, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Leading a team across Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supplier Quality, Quality Systems & Compliance, and Continuous Improvement, you will play a critical role in strengthening quality performance, enhancing manufacturing capability, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the site Quality strategy, ensuring alignment with global business objectives and operational priorities.
  • Lead, mentor and inspire the Quality organisation, fostering a culture of quality, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee quality performance across the entire manufacturing value chain—from incoming materials and supplier quality through production, testing, and final product release.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory and industry requirements, maintaining robust Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant certifications.
  • Drive quality system effectiveness, including internal and external audits, CAPA, risk management, change control, documentation, and process governance.
  • Lead cross-functional problem-solving initiatives using structured methodologies to eliminate root causes and prevent recurrence of quality issues.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HSE and Commercial teams to deliver sustainable quality improvements and support strategic business initiatives.
  • Build strong customer relationships by leading quality reviews, managing escalations, resolving customer issues, and driving proactive improvement initiatives.
  • Provide Quality leadership for new product introductions (NPI), engineering changes, product transfers, and manufacturing process improvements.
  • Establish, monitor and improve key quality metrics, including yield, first-pass yield, defect rates, customer complaints, warranty performance, scrap, and cost of poor quality.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality performance, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive leadership experience in Quality within a manufacturing environment, ideally in equipment, industrial machinery, precision engineering, or capital equipment industries.
  • Strong expertise in Quality Management Systems, regulatory standards, supplier quality, and manufacturing quality processes.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams while driving organisational change and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies, statistical analysis, quality tools, and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across global and cross-functional teams.
  • Commercially minded with a strong customer focus and the ability to balance quality, operational performance, and business objectives.
