About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead process and quality control initiatives within a semiconductor fabrication environment. This role is responsible for driving yield improvement, reducing defects, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies for yield improvement and defect reduction across fabrication processes
Design and maintain advanced process control systems such as SPC, FDC, and APC
Lead cross-functional root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for process issues
Serve as the key quality interface for stakeholders, including handling audits and quality improvement plans
Oversee metrology and inspection systems to ensure measurement accuracy and data reliability
Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to define and stabilize manufacturing process windows
Leverage data analytics to identify trends, predict failures, and enhance process control
Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a data-driven culture
Ensure balance between process stability, efficiency, and operational performance
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
At least 5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor/fab environment
Prior leadership or team management experience preferred
Strong knowledge of process control and quality methodologies (e.g. SPC, DOE, FMEA, Lean/Six Sigma)
Experience in yield improvement, defect analysis, and process optimisation
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Good communication and presentation abilities
