What The Role Is
You will be part of the Strategic Resource Management Division, Crisis Strategy and Operations Group (CSOG).
You will be responsible in planning, implementing and managing the preparedness and operational readiness of emergency healthcare facilities and related services for healthcare crisis, including public health emergency, civil emergency, and national emergency.
You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
What You Will Be Working On
- Strategic planning and policy development in ensuring operational readiness of:
- Transitional care facilities (TCF), including conversion to community treatment facilities (CTF) and infectious disease medical facilities (IDMF);
- Just-in-time (JIT) turn-key services provision; and
- Multi-purpose community isolation facilities (MPCIF) provision.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen the:
- Sourcing of potential vacant facilities and/or green/brownfields for contingency uses, and coordinate use of such facilities/ fields, including facilities/sites assessments;
- Management of TCF, including working with MOH-appointed agent/vendors on operational activities, stand-up of new facilities and extension of use; and
- Management of contracts and/or memorandum of understanding (MOU) for JIT services and MPCIF, ensuring rapid transition and scaling up to meet operational requirements during crisis.
- Planning, forecasting and managing budget and related administrative activities related to TCF, JIT contracts and MPCIF contracts/MOU, including budget seeking, utilisation monitoring and reporting.
- During crisis, activating service providers and conversion of TCF to CTF/IDMF and designated joint testing & vaccination centres (JTVC) to support isolation, quarantine and administration of testing and vaccination operations.
- Supporting other strategic planning, operations and related administrative work when required.
What We Are Looking For
- Tertiary qualification in healthcare, public health, operations planning or related fields.
- At least 3 years prior experience in healthcare facilities management or emergency preparedness.
- Strong understanding of healthcare protocols and infectious diseases management.
- Good analytical and critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with eyes for details.
- Good strategic planning, project management, presentation and writing skills.
- Good communications and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and in teams in fast-paced environment.
