Senior Manager/Manager - Contract Logistics Solutioning & Pricing (Logistics Continuous Improvement) - APAC

Join our APAC Solutions Design Engineering team as a Senior Manager/Manager, where you will be spearheading the design of Engineered Processes, leverage Automation and Technologies to optimize warehouse and logistical operations. You will craft commercially viable proposals and drive continuous improvement initiatives, merging engineering principles with logistics expertise to enhance transportation, distribution, and warehousing systems.

With your proficiency in Engineering, operations research, data analytics, supply chain management, and logistics, you will streamline processes, cut costs, elevate customer service, and enhance overall supply chain performance.

Key Accountabilities

• Key regional focal point to provide strong functional leadership for Solution Design Engineering.
• Establish Solution Engineering guidelines for various warehousing and contract logistics activities in APAC.
• Develop of standard toolbox and training for solution engineers in the cluster/country.
• Support key RFQs to ensure the delivery of the best solution that meets customer and internal objectives.
• Drive requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Work with external consultants to deliver solution design projects and/or customer RFQ when required.
• Present and demonstrate the impact of designed processes to warehouse design, technologies required, service to customers and internal/external stakeholders.
• Continuous research and/or adopt the new emerging automation/technologies to incorporate in new business proposals. Propose changes in existing warehouse or activities where suitable.
• Automation/Innovation key partnerships: Define specifications and act as a counterpart to our global and regional supplier partners for automation and technology utilization in warehouses.
• Develop and conduct training programs and provide coaching in areas of Solution Design, Engineering and Innovation/Automation to Clusters. Establish training materials and conduct training sessions to ensure the right level of capabilities and competencies for Solution Engineering resources across APAC.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Automation & Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
• At least 8-10 years of relevant Logistics solutioning and pricing experience from 3PL
• Professional experience in Contract Logistics, Warehousing, or 3PL industries, preferably in a multinational logistics environment
• Expertise in Contract Logistics Solution Design, Industrial Engineering, or Process Improvement
• Experience collaborating with regional leadership functions
• Proven ability to design and implement solutions for modern warehouse and distribution operations, incorporating automation, robotics, and warehousing innovations.
• Strong ability to engage and effectively communicate ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Demonstrated personal effectiveness as a team player, change agent, and perseverance to drive and achieve desired outcomes.
• Ability to communicate effectively at the Senior Executive level, both internally and externally.
• Experience in Electronics, Consumer Products, Omnichannel, and related verticals is a plus.
