What The Role Is

You will be part of a team in the Ministry of Health's Ageing Planning Office to develop and implement policies to develop assisted living options for seniors. This involves working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

What You Will Be Working On

• Developing an understanding of seniors preferences and care needs for ageing in place.
• Developing new housing models for seniors which are twinned with care services, to allow seniors to age within the community. This will involve the full spectrum of policy development, including policy formulation, service planning, project evaluation, and implementation;
• Collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders such as public agencies, community and industry partners in cross-agency policy reviews that seek to catalyse the development of new housing models for seniors, and enhance the overall senior housing landscape;
• Ensuring alignment with national healthcare goals and Whole-of-Government Policy Priorities

• Qualification in any discipline.
• Relevant knowledge and preferably with experience in areas such as policy formulation, project management, and operationalising and implementing programmes.
• Passion for working with seniors and community partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment which requires critical thinking and decision-making skills.
