JOB DESCRIPTION:
Division: IT Infrastructure & Security, Regional Business Engineering & Information System
Reports to: General Manager, Business Engineering Department
Functional relationships:
- IT Infrastructure & Security Department in Japan HQ
- IT Infrastructure & Security Department in ASEAN and India companies
POSITION PROFILE:
This position is responsible for managing and operating of IT Infrastructure & Security in alignment with the global policies established by Japan Headquarters. As the head of IT Infrastructure & Security for the ASEAN and India regions, this role will lead regional strategies and initiatives, ensuring robust, compliant, and secure IT operations across all relevant entities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide stable, secure, and flexible IT infrastructure to support business operations effectively.
- Align regional policies, strategies, and directions with the global strategy through close collaboration with executives at Japan Headquarters.
- Adapt and localize global policies from Japan Headquarters to address specific requirements in the ASEAN and India regions, ensuring effective implementation and adoption.
- Promote and drive operational excellence across all aspects of IT services and operations within the ASEAN and India regions.
Ability/Competency required:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in IT discipline or any other disciplines with relevant working experiences.
- At least 8 years of relevant experiences in the information technology field.
- At least 3 years of experience in leading or supervising an IT team.
- Hands-on experiences in general IT governance, including corporate IT management, technology evaluation, vendor management and program planning.
- Proficiency in English & Japanese (speaking and writing) to communicate with Japan headquarters and other overseas affiliates effectively.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP) are preferred.
- Strong logical thinking skills, meticulous attention to detail, and accuracy in execution.
- Proactive mindset with excellent communication, conceptual, and interpersonal skills.
