Job Summary

The company is seeking an experienced professional to lead product development and marketing for traditional Chinese health products, including herbal tonics, supplements, and Chinese patent medicines, targeting Singapore and the Southeast Asian market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies for traditional Chinese health and tonic products to drive market growth in Singapore.
  • Select products based on efficacy and consumer demand to optimize the product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to define product specifications, packaging positioning, and ensure compliance with labeling requirements.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across retail, e-commerce, and social media channels to maximize product visibility and sales.
  • Support commercialization and promotional strategies for new product launches to accelerate market adoption.
  • Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities in the health product sector.
  • Analyze sales and consumer data to refine product strategies and enhance business performance.
  • Contribute to the company's business expansion efforts within the Southeast Asian market through strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively in both Chinese and English to coordinate cross-departmental activities and external partnerships.

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in traditional Chinese health products, herbal supplements, Chinese patent medicines, or health product marketing/product roles.
  • Proven experience collaborating with herbal product manufacturers, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) supply chains, or health product supply chains.
  • Demonstrated commercial experience managing products from selection through market launch.
  • Strong business communication skills in both Chinese and English.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience marketing Chinese health products in the Southeast Asian market.
  • Knowledge of traditional herbal formula products.
  • Experience managing the full lifecycle of new product launches.
  • Degree in Marketing, Biomedical Science, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Health Science, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
