Key Responsibilities
- Own the delivery of HR Operations for the PSS Singapore office, ensuring effective execution of employee lifecycle services (hire‑to‑retire), payroll administration, and statutory compliance within established Group and local HR frameworks.
- Manage end‑to‑end HR operational services, including onboarding, relocation, HRIS (Workday) data administration, visa processing, new joiner orientation, payroll preparation, and annual HR cycles (performance reviews, share plans, and year‑end processes), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and controls within HR systems, applying established governance standards and resolving data issues promptly to support reliable payroll, reporting, and compliance outcomes.
- Apply sound professional judgement to manage day‑to‑day HR operational issues and exceptions, resolving matters within defined policies and escalating appropriately where legal, policy, or material risk considerations arise.
- Maintain and apply HR Operations standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality of service delivery identify operational gaps and implement practical, in‑scope improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Manage operational relationships with HR service vendors (e.g. payroll, relocation, immigration providers), monitoring service quality, addressing service issues, and ensuring delivery meets agreed standards.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and relevant HR stakeholders to resolve operational dependencies and support smooth execution of HR services in a multi‑stakeholder environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within HR Operations by sharing best practices, improving ways of working, and supporting effective handover and documentation of processes and decisions.
Qualification and Experience
- Education: A Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
- 10+ demonstrated years of experience in HR Operations/HR service delivery with 5+ years in a managerial role overseeing group/regional office or HR services. Previous HR shared Services experience is an advantage
- Possess a self-starter mentality, with a collaborative and analytical mindset. Willing to take a strategic and/or pragmatic approach to coordinate resources and drive targeted results. A proactive self-starter with a can-do, customer focused approach who can learn quickly from experience.
- Accurate and detail conscious, able to quickly spot errors in data and gaps in information, confidently seeking clarification and explanation. Ability to analyse data and utilize it to make sound business decision.
- Skilled in multi-stakeholder management capable in thriving in a multi-national organizational environment
- Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills necessary to lead and manage teams and projects effectively.
- Demonstrate understanding of Singapore regulations and experience in managing statutory needs.
- Enterprise system experience: Demonstrated working experience in HR system (Workday specifically) and payroll system. Prior work experience in system deployment or process review is required
