Senior Manager, HCP Education and Engagements, APAC

This role is part of Alcon's Marketing function, a team that helps provide access to products across all channels, including through traditional Marketing strategies, event planning, and professional education.

The role is primarily responsible for supporting field staff and customers, conducting on-site education, and fostering relationships with healthcare professionals. You will lead marketing strategies, coordinate market plans, and engage in scientific collaboration with medical experts. Specifics include:

• Provide field support to customers and field staff, including on-site education and consulting
• Support the establishment and maintenance of relations with healthcare professionals and organizations
• Develop and participate in presentations for conventions, forums, and meetings for product awareness
• Coordinate market plans and launch programs to drive demand and sales, evaluating brand performance and overseeing marketing material development
• Plan and produce marketing, advertising, and sales promotion materials, exploring digital innovation solutions to meet customer needs
• Provide consultancy on product commercialization strategies and influence decision-making on resource allocation
• Lead field medical activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentor Field Medical Associates
• Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries and implement clinical and educational strategies

Education:

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree
• Desirable: MBA

Languages:

• Fluency in English, other languages are a plus

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years experience in KOL management, HCP education, and regional events in the med-tech industry.
• Ophthalmic/eye-care background is highly desired.
• Demonstrable success in orchestrating large-scale international events across diverse cultural contexts, particularly in the APAC region within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries, with a preference for experience in the ophthalmology sector.
• Solid experience in budget management, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation with agencies and vendors.
• Familiarity with the regulatory and compliance landscape affecting the medical device and equipment industries in the APAC region.
• Prior regional scope supporting multiple countries in APAC
• Hands-on self-starter and work independently
