Role Overview -
This role requires a strong commercial background to lead and develop a well performing team of Key Account Managers and Senior Key Account Managers to Support Booking.com BV in optimizing the overall performance and to guide the local Partner Service teams in their cooperation with the hotels groups in their territories.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties -
- Lead and develop well performing teams including individual contributors
- and managers within the region
- Support Booking.com BV in establishing and maintaining good relationships with HQ of Strategic Chain Partners of the assigned partners
- Drive relationship management for partners including responsibility for creation and maintenance of executive stakeholder management
- Strategy management within your Region and Segment - in alignment with Booking.com BV - with a strong focus on partner market share, availability and overall quality
- Support Booking.com in analyzing and identifying new opportunities for partners to work closely with the Booking.com model.
- Monitor progress and manage performance of the partner segment in your designated area
- Together with your teams responsible for achieving commercial, managerial, and financial targets
- Key influencer in driving strategy for the countries managed. Responsible for creating operational & strategic plans including with other departments such as Connectivity, Commercial Excellence, Global Accounts teams in other regions, finance, Customer Service etc. .
- Deliver quantity and quality reports on results and performance for information support to Booking.com BV
- Providing information support to Booking.com BV by conducting thorough competitor research and analysis reporting in order to gain competitive edge on partner availability and supply within your region
- Demonstrate outstanding analytical ability to work with global groups to promote growth
- People management responsibilities: reviews, training, recruitment of new staff lead by example, demonstrate exceptional coaching and leadership skills to develop team members to meet targets and improve their account management skills
- Promote Booking.com BV's brand name and its online reservation services to partners.
Role Qualifications and Requirements -
- Excellent understanding of the e-commerce and hotel/travel industry,
- Background in hands on enterprise account management, project management, and negotiation is a big plus
- Fluent in English
- Experience in managing a distributed team and multiple markets
- Proactive, sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication, presentation and coaching skills
- Demonstrate outstanding analytical ability to work with international groups to promote growth via world class execution based on data driven insights .
- Positive attitude
- Valid Drivers license
- Availability to travel 50%-75% of the time in the responsibility area
- Visa and relocation support may be provided
