Role Purpose
The Senior Manager, FP&A leads group-level financial planning, forecasting, and performance management, providing forward-looking insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. The role also combines strong FP&A leadership with valuation and corporate finance capability, partnering closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to drive insight, value creation, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Manage and lead the Group's financial planning cycle, including the annual budget and quarterly forecasts and financial outlooks
- Deliver insightful and timely monthly and quarterly management reporting pack for senior leadership
- Develop and maintain integrated financial models that link operational drivers, strategy, and financial outcomes.
- Deliver forward-looking analysis, scenario modelling, and sensitivities to support executive and board decisions.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with Group Finance and Business Line Finance to ensure accurate and timely submissions
Valuation & Strategic Finance Support
- Develop and maintain valuation and value-based models (e.g. DCF, scenario and sensitivity analysis) to support:
- Strategic planning and investment decision-making
- Long-term business and value creation analysis
- Provide analytical support for business cases, investments, and strategic initiatives, including assessment of financial returns and risks.
Process Improvement
- Streamline and automate financial planning, reporting and analysis processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Drive the utilisation of new technologies and tools to advance analytical capabilities
- Contribute to the ongoing finance transformation, uplifting analytical capability and commercial mindset across the team.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical & Professional
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1015+ years of experience across FP&A, corporate finance, or valuation roles
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Financial planning and forecasting
- Valuation methodologies (DCF, comparables, transaction multiples)
- Financial modelling and scenario analysis
- Hands-on experience with enterprise ERP and FP&A/analytics tools (eg. SAP, Power BI) alongside advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Leadership & Behavioural
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills and the confidence to challenge assumptions in a constructive manner.
- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, executive-ready insights.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior management
- Hands on and detailed driven
- Comfortable navigating fast-paced, dynamic environments
