Senior Manager, FP&A (CAPEX & Cost Management) | Infrastructure

An established infrastructure business is looking for an experienced finance professional to join its regional team in Singapore. This is a business-facing role focused on capital expenditure, cost management and financial decision support across regional operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business and operational stakeholders on the financial management of capital expenditure and operating costs.
• Oversee the planning, monitoring and forecasting of capital expenditure, ensuring spend remains aligned with approved budgets and business requirements.
• Monitor expenditure and project progress, proactively identifying potential cost overruns, delays and funding requirements.
• Prepare and review financial models and business cases to support capital investment initiatives and expenditure decisions.
• Assess investment returns, financial implications and different scenarios to support management decision-making.
• Manage CAPEX and cost forecasting across the region, providing clear analysis on key movements, risks and areas requiring attention.
• Analyse key operating cost drivers and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and overall performance.
• Work closely with Finance and business stakeholders across multiple markets to strengthen planning, forecasting and financial discipline.
• Present financial insights, risks and recommendations to senior management.
• Lead and develop a small regional finance team.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
• Approximately 10+ years of relevant experience within FP&A, business finance, project finance, project controlling or a related finance function.
• Strong experience managing CAPEX within a capital-intensive or asset-heavy business.
• Demonstrated experience in project expenditure, cash-flow forecasting and cost management.
• Strong financial modelling skills with experience developing or assessing investment and business cases.
• Experience partnering closely with operational, project or other non-finance stakeholders.
• Able to understand business and operational developments and translate them into financial implications, risks and recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage and challenge senior business leaders.
• Prior experience within infrastructure, real estate development, utilities, energy, industrial, telecommunications or other asset-intensive sectors would be advantageous.
• Regional exposure and previous people management experience would be beneficial.
