Senior Manager for Procurement Excellence
Candidate Must be from the high-tech manufacturing industry.
This is acritical role in a global organisation to ensure governance, compliance, and consistency globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set SRM framework: segmentation, QBR cadence, scorecards.
- Lead supplier development & corrective
- Define procurement policy & delegation of authority set sourcing standards and quality gates.
- Run governance: Category Councils, Quarterly Value Reviews, compliance audits.
- Coach category teams challenge strategies and negotiations. action standards with Quality/Operations.
- Set and track annual cost targets (CNI) per portfolio.
- Drive TCO/TVO levers: shouldcost, value engineering, index/FX mechanisms.
- Run savings pipeline, baselining, and Finance signoff/inflation mitigation.
- Maintain clause library & templates with Legal guide contracting playbooks.
- Own data model & spend analytics value tracking dashboards.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Min10-15 years in procurement/category management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or any high-tech manufacturing sourcing preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to manage complexity.
- Excellent leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of sourcing strategy, contract law, and supplier performance management.
- Travel: Willingness to travel globally up to 20%.
