We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Fire Safety & Workplace Safety Management to lead the development and implementation of fire safety, workplace safety, and emergency preparedness strategies across critical infrastructure and operational environments.

Key Responsibilities
Fire Safety Management
- Develop and implement comprehensive fire safety strategies, policies, and programmes.
- Review building designs, infrastructure plans, and facilities to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and relevant codes.
- Work closely with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities throughout project planning and implementation.
- Lead fire drills, emergency exercises, safety training, and awareness programmes.
- Promote the integration of fire safety practices into daily operations.
Workplace Safety & Risk Management
- Drive workplace safety initiatives that foster a proactive safety culture.
- Assess operational workflows, facility layouts, and work environments to identify risks and recommend practical mitigation measures.
- Develop and enhance workplace safety policies in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Advise on safety controls, ergonomic improvements, and preventive measures.
- Monitor safety performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Emergency Preparedness & Business Continuity
- Support the development of emergency preparedness plans, policies, and training programmes.
- Review infrastructure and operational readiness to strengthen emergency response capabilities.
- Coordinate preparedness assessments and emergency response exercises with key stakeholders.
- Evaluate and enhance emergency response procedures to improve organisational resilience.
Regulatory Compliance & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key point of contact with regulatory authorities and stakeholders on fire safety and workplace safety matters.
- Provide professional guidance to ensure compliance requirements are incorporated into projects and operational processes.
- Maintain documentation for audits, licensing, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold high standards of safety and compliance.
Requirements
- Degree and above in any discipline with relevant experience in safety, compliance, facilities management, or a related field.
- Recognised SCDF Fire Safety Manager certification.
- MOM-recognised Workplace Safety & Health Officer certification will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, workplace safety standards, emergency preparedness, and relevant building codes.
- Experience in stakeholder management, risk assessment, and implementing safety improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities independently with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools.
