Manages and drives performance of Field Sales Team channel in the country.
Develops plan and targets for Field Sales Team based on country targets/KPI.
Drives implementation of effective Sales tools and processes in the country.
Drives performance improvement of country MBC and SBC segment by supporting target achievement for country-Field Sales.
Delivers financial results in line with agreed revenue & margin budgets and targets.
Plans and manages the portfolio of MBC and SBC of the Field Sales Team respectively.
Provides industry expertise to the team and management.
Prepares and communicates long-term sales strategy and/or plan and annual sales forecast for the respective department to drive performance improvement.
Performs quarterly reviews, identify and report performance variance to senior management, thereafter, devise/impose necessary counteractive actions as applicable.
Provides leadership and manage expectations to team of Field Sales.
Supports and facilitates Sales skills/process training relevant to the Field Sales channel.
Provides coaching to staff and manage sales performance. Engagement with regional team as well as internal Product Groups.
Performs general administrative functions and maintenance of staff discipline, leave application and involvement in annual budgeting process.
Point of escalation for all commercial / operational matters within the team.
YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Deep knowledge in the freight forwarding business
Good communication and presentation skills, ideally selling experience in competitive markets
High degree of self confidence, initiative and commitment
Diploma/ degree with at least 8-10 years of relevant working experience
