Job Description

The Senior Manager leads the end-to-end planning, development, and execution of key tentpole events across the resort. Acting as Project Director, this role works closely with the Head of Events Planning Department and cross-functional partners to deliver innovative, guest-centric event experiences aligned with business objectives and market trends. Responsibilities include identifying potential IP partnerships, conceptualizing events, managing budgets and timelines, preparing proposals, and analyzing event performance to guide future strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of major paid and public events across the resort.
  • Prepare and present proposals, budgets, and timelines for management approval.
  • Drive cross-business unit collaboration to ensure seamless execution of event objectives.
  • Partner with Marketing, Creative, and Production teams on event deliverables and promotional materials.
  • Work closely with Marketing Communications to craft and refine messaging for press releases, marketing content, and internal communications.
  • Oversee event timelines, budgets, and performance metrics, and prepare post-event evaluations with recommendations.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, external partners and vendors.
  • Lead regular stakeholder meetings and provide timely event updates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Events, Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Events Management, Marketing, Public Programmes, or creative project management.
  • Proven experience in project direction, conceptualisation, event planning, and budget oversight.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Canva.
  • Ability to use AI tools for productivity.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and inspire a team.
  • Strong team player with excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Innovative and adaptable in dynamic environments.
  • Skilled in negotiations, budgeting, and project management.
  • Creative problem-solver focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Resilient and solutions-oriented in fast-paced conditions.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
