Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Manager, Engineering to lead our engineering team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for driving engineering excellence, overseeing projects from concept to completion, and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative and high-quality solutions aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team, providing strategic direction and mentorship
- Oversee end-to-end engineering project lifecycle, from planning to execution and delivery
- Develop and implement engineering strategies, standards, and best practices
- Collaborate closely with product, operations, and business teams to support organizational objectives
- Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful project outcomes
- Evaluate new technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Prepare and present engineering reports, performance metrics, and project updates to senior leadership
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
- 10+ years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role
- Proven track record of leading large engineering teams and complex projects
- Strong technical expertise and knowledge of engineering processes, tools, and methodologies
- Excellent leadership, people management, and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Fluency in English; knowledge of the Singapore/SEA engineering landscape is an advantage
