About the job

This is a critical senior position within the compliance division focused on spearheading the organization's data governance strategy and ensuring alignment with regional regulatory standards.

• Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of the corporate data governance framework, including all associated policies and standards.

• Establish robust data lifecycle protocols and classification schemes to ensure information is managed securely and efficiently across the business.

• Design and execute monitoring mechanisms to evaluate data quality and integrity across various enterprise systems and databases.

• Drive data literacy initiatives across all business units to strengthen organizational understanding of data control and management obligations.

• Collaborate closely with the Data Protection Officer and key stakeholders to assess risk levels and monitor the effectiveness of governance controls.

Skills and experience required

• At least 6 of specialized experience in data governance or data management within the financial services sector.

• Proven track record in developing and maintaining data governance framework, policies, and procedures.

• Strong analytical and project management abilities with a focus on resolving complex governance issues.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to provide advisory support to diverse business units.
