About the job
This is a critical senior position within the compliance division focused on spearheading the organization's data governance strategy and ensuring alignment with regional regulatory standards.
Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of the corporate data governance framework, including all associated policies and standards.
Establish robust data lifecycle protocols and classification schemes to ensure information is managed securely and efficiently across the business.
Design and execute monitoring mechanisms to evaluate data quality and integrity across various enterprise systems and databases.
Drive data literacy initiatives across all business units to strengthen organizational understanding of data control and management obligations.
Collaborate closely with the Data Protection Officer and key stakeholders to assess risk levels and monitor the effectiveness of governance controls.
Skills and experience required
At least 6 of specialized experience in data governance or data management within the financial services sector.
Proven track record in developing and maintaining data governance framework, policies, and procedures.
Strong analytical and project management abilities with a focus on resolving complex governance issues.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to provide advisory support to diverse business units.
