As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Senior Manager, Data Centreto join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership:Provide leadership to the Engineering Support team, driving strategic goals, managing performance, and fostering professional development.
Subject Matter Expertise:Serve as the Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Subject Matter Expert for our Singapore-based facilities.
Incident & Problem Management:Champion the Problem Management process and serve as a rotating duty Incident Manager following ITIL frameworks.
Energy Management:Lead energy audits, optimization programs, and retrofitting projects, including the financial evaluation of energy efficiency measures.
Procurement & Contract Management:Oversee the procurement of technical services and manage the administration and renewal of service agreements and contracts.
Certification & Compliance:Manage technical certification programs (e.g., ANSI/TIA-942, Green Mark, ISO) and establish frameworks to ensure compliance with building regulations and international standards.
Operational Excellence:Develop and review technical policies, maintenance frameworks, and work instructions to enhance build quality and maintainability.
Audit Support:Facilitate customer technical audits and provide management with critical operational information as required.
Key Requirements
Education:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience:5-8 years of relevant experience in operations, maintenance, commissioning, or design of mission-critical facilities. Direct experience in Data Centres is highly preferred.
Technical Knowledge:Deep expertise in MEP operations and building systems, including Switchgears, UPS, Generators, and CRAUs.
Certification Track Record:Proven experience leading certification programs such as ANSI/TIA-942, Uptime, BCA-IMDA Green Mark, or ISO.
Professional Credentials:Holding professional certifications such as CEng, PE, PMP, or Uptime Accredited Tier Designer/Specialist is preferred.
Sustainability Expertise:Certifications in energy management (e.g., SCEM, SGBC Green Mark Professional, or LEED GA/AP) are a significant advantage.
Standards Familiarity:Strong knowledge of international standards including ASHRAE, ISO, NFPA, and Singapore Standards.
Soft Skills:Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work independently under tight timelines.
