About the Role
The individual will:
. Lead and deliver end-to-end analytics projects across the Group Internal Audit (GIA) Group.
. Responsible for driving strategic AI/DA initiatives within GIA while delivering customised solutions tailored to the needs of individual Local Business Units (LBUs).
. Develop and enforce baseline analytics objectives and standards across GIA Group to expand and enhance audit coverage using data analytics.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead DA Projects: Drive end-to-end delivery of DA initiatives across the GIA Group, ensuring alignment with GIA objectives.
- Collaborate with LBUs or specialist audit teams to develop and implement tailored DA solutions for individual LBUs, addressing unique business challenges.
- Identify opportunities to help and work across the business units (within GIA and with the other departments) to optimise the audit operational processes through DA.
- Conduct regular reviews of analytics activities performed by LBUs to maintain group-wide quality benchmarks.
- Develop the GIA DA Specialists capabilities and support them in building data analytics expertise within local business units and specialised audit teams.
- Prepare GIA DA projects update to management and Audit Committee.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor or master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Eight years of experience in building data analytics solutions related role preferably in audit, risk, compliance department, or control functions.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale AI projects and delivering production-ready solutions.
- Strong experience with data engineering will be an advantage.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and leading visualisation tools to deliver actionable insights.
- Possess deep expertise across the data lifecycle, from data engineering to analytics, visualisation, and automation.
- Strong understanding of cloud platform (azure) and databricks will be an advantage.
- Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong project management skills will be preferred.
