Our client is a large regulated group with diversified operations across Singapore. As the organisation deepens its digital infrastructure and expands its technology landscape, it is seeking a Senior Manager, Cybersecurity to anchor its security operations and governance function - a role that sits at the operational heart of the group's cyber defence capability.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for developing and executing the cybersecurity strategy across the group, spanning enterprise IT, operational systems, and critical infrastructure. You will lead threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response efforts, while maintaining close alignment with the internal audit function to ensure controls are robust, tested, and audit-ready. The role carries significant influence over security architecture decisions and vendor partnerships, and requires a practitioner who can operate with equal confidence at the technical and governance levels.
Key Responsibilities
You will own the group's cybersecurity risk posture, driving continuous improvement across policies, processes, and technical controls. Working closely with infrastructure and IT operations teams, you will oversee the security of network, cloud, and endpoint environments, and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks and government ICT standards. You will establish and maintain security monitoring capabilities, lead tabletop exercises and red team engagements, and serve as the primary escalation point for cybersecurity incidents. Engagement with internal audit on cyber-related risk assessments and control reviews will be a standing part of the role.
Requirements
You should have at least ten years of progressive cybersecurity experience, with a minimum of three to four years in a leadership or senior specialist capacity. Candidates with a background in regulated sectors - financial services, government, or critical information infrastructure - are particularly well positioned. Strong working knowledge of frameworks such as MAS TRM, CSA's Cybersecurity Act requirements, NIST, or ISO 27001 is expected. Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent) are advantageous. You are a clear communicator who can brief senior stakeholders and board-level audiences on cyber risk without losing technical precision.
Application
Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV to [Confidential Information], quoting reference A04821.
