Job Description: Senior Manager, Curriculum
Role PurposeThe Senior Manager, Curriculum at At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy provides strategic and operational leadership across our comprehensive programmes. With a strategic focus on cost-efficiency and innovation, this role mandates the use of Generative AI tools to drive down content development costs and accelerate curriculum production. The immediate priority involves managing critical reviews for programmes. Key Responsibilities

1. Cost-Efficient, AI-Driven Curriculum Review & Innovation (Immediate Priority)

  • Mandatory AI Tool Utilization: Architect and enforce team-wide workflows using Generative AI to rapidly prototype lesson plans, rewrite modules, generate multimedia content, and create assessment tools.
  • Critical Portfolio Reviews: Directly lead and optimize the comprehensive curriculum reviews
  • Curriculum Alignment: Ensure all reviewed courseware natively supports the Academy's unique synchronized study-apprenticeship / blended learning model, enhancing learner engagement and knowledge retention for adult learners .

2. Deep-Dive Course Review, Content Ownership & Associate Management

  • Hands-on Content Development: Personally deep-dive into course structures, lesson plans, learner guides, trainer guides, and assessment rubrics . Ensure all content matches the rigorous culinary, entrepreneurial, and academic standards of the Academy.
  • End-to-End Review Cycle Management: Lead technical review panels for all existing and new culinary, wellness, and business modules. Critically evaluate content for industry relevance, regulatory gaps, and modern pedagogical execution. This involves vetting materials for alignment with learning outcomes, technical skills, and assessment principles .
  • Micro-Management of Associate Deliverables: Establish strict Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), clear content milestones, and quality benchmarks
  • University Articulation & Standards Alignment: Actively manage curriculum mapping, module updates, and content vetting processes for the BABSE degree pathway in direct, technical collaboration with the University
  • Internal Team Upskilling: Mentor and directly supervise internal curriculum developers, equipping them with prompt engineering and AI-augmented tools to independently execute deep-dive content edits and maintain high standards .

3. Regulatory Strategy

  • Regulatory Roadmap: Analyze past institutional gaps and engineer a revised compliance roadmap to achieve future accreditations.
  • Quality Assurance Frameworks: Establish stringent quality assurance, data tracking, and assessment governance to actively support the upliftment of the Academy's credit rating. This includes managing rigorous internal and external audits to meet CPE and SSG standards .
  • Course Registration & Compliance: Formulate the curriculum mapping and framework required under the TPGateway. This involves preparing and submitting all necessary documentation (e.g., Course Proposal Forms, Lesson Plans, Assessment Plans) for SSG's evaluation and approval .
  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all current undergraduate degree, specialist diploma, and vocational modules strictly maintain compliance with CPE's Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF), EduTrust requirements, and all relevant SDWA/SSG funding guidelines .
Job Requirements

Experience & Education

  • Education: Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 6–8 years of instructional design or curriculum management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity within a Singapore PEI or SSG-funded CET institute .
  • Strategic Capability: Proven track record in cost-management, operational troubleshooting, and navigating complex regulatory hurdles (e.g., executing structural program pivots or navigating strict SSG audit cycles) .

Technical Skills & Certifications

  • Generative AI Expert (MUST HAVE): Advanced capability in prompt engineering and deploying AI applications specifically to optimize workflow speed and cut content creation costs.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Intimate familiarity with CPE ERF, EduTrust criteria, and the specific registration/compliance requirements for SCTP frameworks, WSQ, and non-WSQ higher education pathways on the TPGateway portal .
  • Preferred Certifications: Professional certifications in adult education—DACE (Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education) or DDD (Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Adults)—are highly preferred .

  • Resilience & Agility: A strategic thinker capable of pivoting timelines, learning from past operational roadblocks, and methodically building toward long-term institutional goals (Phase 2).
